I'm back!

I have had no excuses of not writing.

In my mind, I have written dozens of posts, but have not  had the guts of putting them online. There was always something else.

I needed to organise my head. My kids needed some attention. There was some rocky paths with school, work, home stuff. Nevertheless, decided to forget the explanations and just start fresh.

In the spring I have been tackling with the iron deficiency that has influenced my whole well-being as well as running. In addition to this foot problems have kept me from running enough, and this kind of situation has always a negative effect on the mind.

Now, I try to take each day as it is and do recovery, and physiotherapy and be gentle to myself. If a good running day comes, I will cherish it.

This year we went on a summer road trip in Spain with the family, and ended up the mountain area in Aragorn, 300 km from Barcelona. This amazing scenery is in village of Torla and part of the Monte Perdido National park.

In short, now I am back and try to catch some of those silver linings. If you like to read about running, training, trips, food related stuff and random bits of life on the island, stay on board.

Me appreciating the views in Torla, Spain. When the temperature was nice + 24 down in the valley, it was chilly 13 degrees high up.

Got a serious case of mountain madness though, so started planning a new trip for next year. All tips and good locations for hiking and running are more than welcomed.
